Community Programs
School Book Flood
Bringing Books to Your Neighborhood
BookLoop’s Community Program is designed to flood your neighborhoods with books by giving kids access to stories everywhere they go. Whether it’s a local book fair, a local book giveaway event, or a literacy night, our programs make it easy for communities to champion reading.
Book Access at Events & Beyond
Book Gardens
Mini indoor and/or outdoor reading hubs filled with books for kids to browse, borrow, and enjoy. Designed to be beautiful, inviting, and easy to maintain.
Literacy Nights
Partner with schools or community centers for interactive family events that celebrate reading with story time, giveaways, and activities.
Book Giveaway Events
Pop-up events at schools, local gatherings, festivals, or food pantries to distribute books directly into the hands of children and families.
Program Options & Flexibility
All of our community programs can be customized based on your location, capacity, budget, and audience size. Whether you want to host a one-time event or establish an ongoing book access point, we’re here to help plan and supply the books you need.
Timeline
BookLoop can begin scaling a book flood in your school community at any time of the year. While planning ahead is ideal, we recommend starting either before the school year begins or in January. For a book giveaway event, BookLoop requires at least two months from planning to distribution.
